In order to learn new information, you should study on a regular basis. To achieve this goal you have created flashcards to practice Spanish vocabulary words and phrases. Your parent is to review your flashcards with you three times prior to your return of this Practice Sheet. The first time through, you are to look at the Spanish and say the English. The second and third time through, you are to look at the English and produce the Spanish. (Parents, if you feel it would be more productive to practice fewer cards during more sessions, adjust for the personal success of your child. The key is that regular practice take place, and that all the cards are reviewed.)
Parents, even if you’ve never had Spanish you can still do this. First of all, does your child have an answer. Second of all, does it sound close. (Honestly, it may not always sound how you think.) Lastly, ask your child. Put the responsibility on him/her. You can gauge his / her confidence in the response. You can always request that he / she checks with me and reports back with the answer.
