What is the March for Life?

The March for Life consists of a four day, three evening trip provided by the archdiocese of Indianapolis to participate in the national march for life, which commemorates the anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision that legalized abortion .  Students who participate, will have the chance to learn and experience the Catholic values of respecting life in all forms.  This group that goes, fights for the rights of unborn children and goes to vocalize their belief that abortion is wrong and we as people must start respecting the human person.  Through a visit to the Holocaust Museum and war memorials, the students will learn just how fragile life is, and hopefully this will give them fuel by which they can stand by their cause.  The group will also celebrate mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception and end with the march from the Washington Memorial to the steps of the Supreme Court.
